Days are getting warmer and the nights are getting shorter. Our drivers are out early to avoid the hot weather in mid day. If you have totes please make sure they are out at the end of the driveway by 6am the day of pick up and other containers are not blocked by toys, vehicles and or equipment. Thank you for making ARMSTRONG SANITATION your #1 garbage service.

Prescription Drug Take-Back Program

The Prescription Drug Take-Back program addresses a vital public safety and public health issue. Many Americans are not aware that medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse.

Rates of prescription drug abuse in the U.S. are at alarming rates, as are the number of accidental poisonings and overdoses due to these drugs.

Studies show that many abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including from the home medicine cabinet. In addition, many Americans do not know how to properly dispose of their unused medicine.

If you have expired or unwanted prescription drugs (non-liquid), you may drop them off at these locations:

McKenzie County
McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office
201 5th St NW, Ste 175
Watford City, SD
Phone: 701-444-3654

Mountrail County
Mountrail County Sheriff’s Office
101 N Main St
Stanley, ND
Phone: 701-628-2975

Williams County
Williston Police Department
223 E Broadway

Phone: 701-577-1212

Please clean out your medicine cabinet and make your home safe from drug theft and abuse.
